Ratchet and Clank is a platformer shooter video game based on the original game from PS2 from 2002. It is a re-imagining of the 2002 and game and also based on the upcoming film of the same name.
The game although being a re-imagining of the original also has elements from other games in the series. It is also happens in a different continuity to the other games in the series and is known as a new beginning.

Ratchet is a Lombax which is a feline like character. The animal Lombax comes from a planet called Fastoon. Ratchets friend a Robot called Clank, Clank is a sentient zoni robot, he was supposedly created by a malfunctioning machine.
The game is set in a science fiction setting. Ratchet and Clank travel all over the universe saving the universe from evil forces regularly.
You mainly control Ratchet in his missions on various planets across the galaxy. There are many objectives throughout the game some will be integral to the progress of the game and others are optional. You will have an array of new weapons and also some old favourites. There will be lots of tasks, missions and puzzles in which you can earn skill points.
