Destiny is an online multi-player first person shooter video game. It is set in a mythic science fiction open world setting in the far future. Destiny comes from the creators of Halo.
Destiny is set 700 years in a post apocalyptic future, set after the ‘’golden age’’ of technological advances and peace. The golden age started with the arrival of the traveller, it isn't known where the traveller came from, its arrival gave humans the ability to set up colonies on other planets. The golden age lasted for centuries but then it came to an end.

You are the defender of the only and last safe city on Earth. You are the guardian and you need to protect your home and defeat your enemies. You are earth’s final hope and failure is not an option, if you fail, everything humans know will be gone forever.
You play in an open world setting as a guardian of the city. You will battle various enemies including Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal.
You are able to customise and upgrade your characters and take them into battle, taking them into all the modes you can play. The modes include campaign, co-operative, social, public and competitive multi-player. You have the choice of species to play including Titan, warlock and Hunter.
